Introduction:
The
Renegades / Pass Soccer Academy consists of players (boys &
girls) who would normally play competitive soccer within the U9 or
U10 age group. The Academy is based on age specific training
programs that foster proper technical development and provide a
better understanding of the game's overall tactics. The Academy's
primary objective is to develop the foundation skills of soccer;
dribbling, ball control, passing, and shooting, that are considered
critical to a players success.
Goal:
The Academy goal is to
help each player develop his/her individual skills and integrate
these skills as they relate to team play. The Academy will prepare
the youth soccer player for the level of competition found in
U11 Select soccer by introducing sound technical and tactical
execution to players at U8, U9, and U10 level. These Academy players
will train with the Pass Soccer Academy Staff every week, and will
compete in FYSA sponsored leagues throughout the
year.
Philosophy:
The Academy believes in
consistent coaching, while following a progressive trend of
development for younger players. Allowing youngsters to play, learn,
grow, and enjoy soccer in a non-threatening yet challenging
environment, where camaraderie, fun, and laughter are the ultimate
learning experience.
